Welcome to AtropaBelladonna Bibliotheca Thinis! Some of you might know Thinis from its prior incarnation and although it now has a new look (and a semi-newish name...kinda...), it's still the same ole site contentwise. For those of you new to Thinis, perhaps an explanation of the site might be handy?

Thinis.com was originally created, several years ago, to be an online resource for information pertaining to the Proto and Early Dynastic Periods of Ancient Egyptian history. We've tried to add in bits and pieces as we could, but commitments elsewhere hampered that more than a little. That's one of the reasons why Thinis is now a part of AtropaBelladonna Bibliotheca - to free up more of our time to devote to our passion of these eras of Egyptian history. Of course, that won't happen for about a month yet as we get all the sections online, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

Because of the fact that there are several sections to AtropaBelladonna Bibliotheca, the sections will be coming online in a staggered fashion so for the moment this is the only glimpse you get of the new look. However, the old Thinis is still up and if you'd like to access the information there please feel free to click here and you'll be there in a jiffy.
